Action Packed Martial Arts Film Starring Don “the dragon” Wilson, Cynthia Rothrock and Lorenzo Lamas to be released at Hollywood Video and BlockBuster Video May 16th
X-Treme Fighter (previously named Sci-Fighter), is an action-packed, futuristic movie that truly appeals to the action crowd. Filled with names of some of the top martial artists in the industry, X-Treme Fighter takes you from reality into fantasy.
Action start Don “the dragon” Wilson stars in the high quality action film who is pitted against such adversaries as Christine Bannon-Rodrigues (the Virus), Eric Lee (the Monk), Michael Matsuda (the Monkey Man), Brad Verret (the Cage Fighter), Maurice Smith (the Street Fighter), Chris Casamassa (the Karate Master), Gokor (the Grappler), Rebecca Chaney (the Scorpion) and James and Simon Kim (the Double Threat).
X-Treme Fighter introduces newcomer Brad Mayid (Brad Tanaka) and veteran actor Aki Aleong (Professor Tanaka). Aleong has appear and starred in such features as House of Sand and Fog, the Quest, Dragon: the Bruce Lee Story and many more.
Directed by film director Art Camacho (Redemption, Little Big Foot), X-Treme Fighter was filmed entirely on location in 35 m/m, from the California coast to Las Vegas, X-Treme Fighter features more than 25 blazing fight scenes showcasing the talents of the largest cast of internationally celebrated martial arts stars ever assembled.
X-Treme Fighter is armed with an arsenal of more than 250 SPECIAL EFFECTS and unique graphics conceived and created by former elite Disney Imagineers. The action-packed, martial arts tour-de-force is super-charged with an original score composed by Kenny Meredith and Vince Dicola, among the creative minds behind the Rocky movies. X-Treme Fighter's soundtrack features some of today's hottest artists such as Los Angeles' own breakthrough rock band Powder.
The producer's of X-Treme Fighter have created bonus material for a DVD release that includes more than 60 interviews and 20 hours of behind-the-scenes footage. Additionally, a 60-minute "Behind-the-Scenes..." show is available to generate advertising revenue while acting as a promotional vehicle.
