"Degerberg Academy is known for blending over 200 styles of martial arts into one unified art. We’re the only school of this kind in the world.” said Fred Degerberg.

Fred Degerberg is a Ninth Degree Black Belt with over 55 years experience practicing martial arts, and owner of Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts in Lincoln Square. The Lincoln Square school was rated #1 in the US by the US Martial Arts Association and has been called "one of the finest, best-equipped martial arts training facilities in the world" by Inside Kung Fu Magazine. The Milwaukee Avenue school is Degerberg's second location, in a more traditional martial arts building.
