(KKO Martial Arts News) - Glenn Sarault, experienced Martial Arts Instructor, became serious about wanting to learn Martial Arts 13 years ago, but he found it difficult to find a program and location to learn the art.
“I went from Dojo to Dojo and traveled as far as 37 miles from my home in hopes of finding the right Dojo,” Sarault said. After searching for several years, Sarault learned of a dojo that was opening just 3.4 miles from his home. He went to the orientation and, “I signed-up for Shotokan Karate-do (a traditional martial art) at that very moment, and to this day am still very happy I did.”
13 years later, Sarault is now a 2nd Degree black belt and has launched his new web site and business
http://seriousmartialartstraining.com. where he is offering his wisdom and experience to others who have the same drive and determination to learn Martial Arts Training and defense techniques that he did.
Through his new web site, Sarault explains what it takes to thrive and succeed in Martial Arts, and helps people chose if it is right for them.
"Who is this Traditional Shotokan Karate-do not for? It is not for someone who is impatient. Although, if you want to learn to be patient then it is for you..." he explains on his web site.
After going to his web site, if someone learns that they have what it takes to succeed in Martial Aats, starting January 1, 2006 they can benefit from Sarault's passion and experience in Martial Arts Instruction. Sarault is also offering Personal One-on-One classes for students who cannot find martial arts schools closer to them or who want to train in the privacy of their own home.
“At this point in my life and after much pondering and talking with other people I thought I would like to open a remote dojo and give back what I have learned to a select number of like minded individuals,” Sarault said. “I have successfully trained, teenagers, men, women and seniors.”
Sarault is offering instruction and self defense classes for three different levels in Shotokan Karate-do including Silver, Gold and Platinum, which will be determined by the level of training that a student wants. The Personal one-on-one courses will be taught over a course of videos, phone conversations and DVD’s.
Each month Sarault will send enrolled students a DVD that they can play when they want to take a class. Every three months they will need to tape themselves taking the class with a video camera and send it to him with attendance sheets. Sarault will review the tape and send back a DVD with your corrections.
“This is a great way to learn because you will have a valuable collection of DVD's that you can review at your convenience,” Sarault said. “Remember, repetition is the mother of learning!”
